:::McLaren F1:::

The McLaren has been my favorite car ever since I started playing Need For Speed (It was by far the fastest car in the game and looked the best). I hope that all of you are as fascinated by this car as I am!

The McLaren F1 features a BMW S70 V12 engine, very aggressive, sporty looks, and held the title of the fastest production car. The McLaren was designed specifically to be the ultimate roadcar (and I think they did an excellent job at that!). Only 100 were produced and up until 2005 was the fastest production car with a top speed of 386.7 km/h (242.14 mph) and still was able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds!! (LM can go 0-60 in 2.9 seconds). The LM version also held the record for acceleration from 0-100-0 mph in 8.5 seconds!!!

Interesting Fact: The turn signals on the side mirrors were adopted by many car manufactures later.

The F1 LM (Le Mans) is easy to recognize as it is always coloured papaya orange (and it has a racing engine, but you can't recognize that by looking at it!). The LM is the fastest road version McLaren F1.

:::Ferrari F40:::

The Ferrari F40 is one of my favorite Ferraris and is the last car commisioned by Enzo himself. He constructed this car for the 40th Anniversary and to show that Ferrari could still make superior supercars (I think he proved it!!). The F40 was to compete with the Porsche 959 and be as close to a race car as possible while still being street legal. The F40 held the title of being the worlds fastest production car between 1987 and '89 at a top speed of 324 km/h (201mph). The owner of a Japanese dealership proved the cars potential reaching the top speed on an expressway. He filmed himself touching the top speed and sold the tapes (unfortunatly for him one he sold to an undercover cop and he got arrested!).

:::Koenigsegg CCXR Special Edition:::

The 2nd fastest car in the world runs on ethenol???
Yes, it is true the Koenigsegg CCXR Special Edition is the second fastest production car in the world and it does run on ethanol fuel!! With a twin superchargered V8 and a carbon fibre body it's no wonder!
Top Speed: over 250 mph
0-62 mph: 2.9 sec.
I hope to ride one of these someday!! Enjoy!

:::Reventón:::

Yayy!! It finally works! :)
Here are some more awesome pictures of the fierce Lamborghini Reventón.

:::Jaguar XKR GT3 & S:::

The Jaguar XKR S is the fastest Jaguar to leave the factory since the XJ220 (Definitely the best Jaguar of all time!).

Top Speed: 174 mph
0-60 mph: 4.9 sec.

The Jaguar XKR GT3's body is made of aluminum and is supercharged and will be competing in GT3 series races. This is not a factory effort but is one of Apex Motorsport & Richard Lloyd.
I just got my wisdom teeth removed so you can espect more posts this week (I don't have anything better that I can do!).

:::Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Revealed At Geneva:::

The latest Gallardo was introduced to the Lamborghini family on March 4 in Geneva at the supercar autoshow. The new car features new looks, LED rear and headlights, new cross-spoked rims, and more power! The 4 at the end of the name means that it runs on a permanent 4-wheel drive system taken from the Diablo VT. Be sure to check out the pictures of this car and if you haven't done so yet look at my post about the Lamborghini Reventon (the greatest car ever, and it's new for this year also).
